Happy days I wanted to share with you! For the first time in 9 years I am back to my NORMAL weight. I have the highest normal BMI allowed for my height. I honestly didn’t think it was possible! Many thanks to all of you for sharing your ups and downs! This encourages a lot!

I got to my goal, but it was tough.. I am really happy about how my body looks though compared to the start of this game, so really worth the effort :muscle::heart:

Mollie D.

Congratulations to all of you for your efforts and progress!

KB, I know what you mean, I don't see much difference either. And my pants actually felt a little tighter this month in some ways; but looser in other ways.

But eventually, there won't be any denying the change! :muscle:

This round I did not make weight. My excuse is that I moved from an isolated rural environment halfway across the country to an urban one. Its been wonderful to walk to restaurants and markets and a joy to eat with friends more often. But managing the temptations while settling in has been tricky. I will join another game. My GI and inflammation issues have improved and I don't want to go back to how I felt before!

Made weight for all 3 rounds so far! I've never made it this far in a transformer game before. 2lbs away from my Round 4 goal, I feel like the end is in sight!

I finally got Covid. It suuuucks!

Hoping for a full recovery and that I don't lose too much muscle.

The rest of this round, I will be focused on healing.

Stay safe out there, everyone! 😷

Hi group! I started this just before my wedding and when was on honeymoon in Italy and ate all the things. I haven’t checked the scale because I am honestly scared we have not been eating for health, rather convenience. I think I’m just scared to start but I know I have to get in the mindset! Any positive encouragement would be so appreciated! Looks like everyone is killing it!!

Congratulations! I bet you’re not in bad shape considering you probably did a lot of walking and activity during your travels. I always get nervous after a trip and usually I’m pleasantly surprised. And even if it’s not great, a wonderful honeymoon is worth it. Cheers!

Jose S.

Just remind yourself that you’re creating healthy long lasting habits. Enjoying life free of any restrictions for a week will be a blimp on the radar 20 years from now. Focus on the healthy habits and the long-term improvement.btw congratulations!

August Challenge:

1. Close the move rings on my watch every day. This was my July challenge but I didn’t quite make it (I made it 21/31 days and most of my miss days I was close). This month, I’m going to do it every day.

2. No alcohol and no dining out/take out. I’m also doing a “no spend” August so these two can go hand in hand. It’ll be hard on my book club nights (always at bars) but I’m going to stay strong by eating before I go. Maybe leave my wallet at home 😅.

3. Strength training at least 3 days per week. One lagree class at my favorite studio and two sessions in my garage gym with my husband.

4. Walks before work. The last two days I’ve woken up an hour early to walk/run. My goal is to do this every weekday all month. It feels so good to be halfway to my move goal before 7AM.

That’s it! It’s going to be a big month but I’m committed to the grind. Let’s go!

To all my friends in the fight… keep up the momentum. I want to share some feelings and doubt. I feel like I’m failing because the scale does not reflect my hard work and sacrifice. In my mind I know I’m doing all the right things, less calories more cardio. I’m reminded how important sleep and rest is for me. I’ve done this before and it helps both my mind wellness and body recovery. However…, Right now I feel that the scale is wrong, it’s showing all the water weight and inflammation. I see the body fat coming off. My son said my belly I’d not so fat

I agree with Molie. Keep fighting the fight. You are doing the right things. Be proud of them!

Thank you Mollie and Jodi! Yes we are on the right track. I am healthier and happier. I miss beer though… but not as much. I find that this community has helped control my cravings and motivated me to seek healthy replacements.

I have been incredibly discouraged and am in need of some motivation. I did make my round 2 goal, but have been feeling defeated, exhausted and overwhelmed. I want to start exercising more and going on daily walks again! Between working full time and taking care of my children all I want to do with my free time is lay on the couch. Help send some motivation to a mother in need please 😩

I am in the same boat. Kids, overworked, stressed! And wanting to exercise more.

First, I think we need to focus on our achievements and how we got those done. Feel good about it and keep doing that.

Adding more, like exercise, is great; but rest and relaxation counts towards a healthy lifestyle too.

How old are your kids? Can you take them on a after-dinner walk with you? (Not ideal, but possibly a way to make it happen).

The best way I can figure to add exercise is small bits throughout the day. Climbing stairs, walking up and down a hill at school drop-off/pick-up, push-ups, sit-ups, dancing, standing more, etc...

I do this during the day so I know I can just collapse in the evening and call it a day.

Jodi G.

Good luck! It’s hard to make time to be healthy when you were exhausted. I’m a teacher on summer vacation and am amazed at how difficult it has been to make time to work out every day.
