Happy days I wanted to share with you! For the first time in 9 years I am back to my NORMAL weight. I have the highest normal BMI allowed for my height. I honestly didn’t think it was possible! Many thanks to all of you for sharing your ups and downs! This encourages a lot!

I got to my goal, but it was tough.. I am really happy about how my body looks though compared to the start of this game, so really worth the effort :muscle::heart:

Mollie D.

Congratulations to all of you for your efforts and progress!

KB, I know what you mean, I don't see much difference either. And my pants actually felt a little tighter this month in some ways; but looser in other ways.

But eventually, there won't be any denying the change! :muscle:

Made weight for all 3 rounds so far! I've never made it this far in a transformer game before. 2lbs away from my Round 4 goal, I feel like the end is in sight!

I see I haven’t done much updates, was on holiday. This time it was a whole different one. I was away for 5 weeks, got a personal trainer for gym (2 sessions per week) and it was the most awesome thing I have ever done for my training. I have been going to weight training since February, but only now I realized most of my moves/postures were wrong 😂. I am so thankful a professional helped and motivated me! At the same time I continued my running program (5x per week). One week was offish (less trainings, more food and some drinks involved 🙈😃) and I feel great! The habits are created, I see results (mostly in terms of body shape and size, the weight goes down veeery slow, but this is to be expected in the middle of 40s ;) ). Whenever I feel I need a day off training, I allow it and just go for a long walk, because now my body craves movement.. so this is smth I wanted to share, I hope it inspires someone. I will be off to gym now. Have a wonderful weekend! ☀☀☀

August Challenge:

1. Close the move rings on my watch every day. This was my July challenge but I didn’t quite make it (I made it 21/31 days and most of my miss days I was close). This month, I’m going to do it every day.

2. No alcohol and no dining out/take out. I’m also doing a “no spend” August so these two can go hand in hand. It’ll be hard on my book club nights (always at bars) but I’m going to stay strong by eating before I go. Maybe leave my wallet at home 😅.

3. Strength training at least 3 days per week. One lagree class at my favorite studio and two sessions in my garage gym with my husband.

4. Walks before work. The last two days I’ve woken up an hour early to walk/run. My goal is to do this every weekday all month. It feels so good to be halfway to my move goal before 7AM.

That’s it! It’s going to be a big month but I’m committed to the grind. Let’s go!

I have been incredibly discouraged and am in need of some motivation. I did make my round 2 goal, but have been feeling defeated, exhausted and overwhelmed. I want to start exercising more and going on daily walks again! Between working full time and taking care of my children all I want to do with my free time is lay on the couch. Help send some motivation to a mother in need please 😩

I am in the same boat. Kids, overworked, stressed! And wanting to exercise more.

First, I think we need to focus on our achievements and how we got those done. Feel good about it and keep doing that.

Adding more, like exercise, is great; but rest and relaxation counts towards a healthy lifestyle too.

How old are your kids? Can you take them on a after-dinner walk with you? (Not ideal, but possibly a way to make it happen).

The best way I can figure to add exercise is small bits throughout the day. Climbing stairs, walking up and down a hill at school drop-off/pick-up, push-ups, sit-ups, dancing, standing more, etc...

I do this during the day so I know I can just collapse in the evening and call it a day.

Jodi G.

Good luck! It’s hard to make time to be healthy when you were exhausted. I’m a teacher on summer vacation and am amazed at how difficult it has been to make time to work out every day.

How's everyone doing?

This second round has been hard. I can tell things are changing, but the weight loss is super slow. I'm really going to have to tighten-up my eating this week.

Same here Mollie. I have been two pounds from my goal for 2 and a half weeks. I’m putting in the work, but I feel that it’s going to be too close for comfort.

Jodi G.

I’m behind and reading these updates. Last round I did not make it. I’m not dropping weight this round, but I am committed to continuing to make healthy choices. I’m struggling with some injuries that make it hard to work out.
