The process of losing weight is slower than I anticipated. Mainly because my knee pain took a while to heal. Then, I was a bit scared to add any resistance to my exercises.
I reevaluated my workout plan & my husband also helped me.
I'm trying not to push my body too much or abruptly since that's what caused my knee pain in the first place.
I'm still hopeful to weigh my goal weight by the end of year.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good accurate scale?
I think I need to replace mine. One moment it says I weigh a certain amount & when I move it just a little and weigh myself it's a lb different. I'd really like to know how much I actually weigh.
Or is this normal?

Qardio. It's pricier, but it tracks your weight and body fat in an app. + if you aren't inclined to look at the numbers, you can change it to Emoticons to check your progress.

Thank you I'll into it :relaxed:

I have been doing okay overall with eating healthy & not giving into emotional eating. We don't have any junk food, but I gain weight easily & not to mention my body has a lot of fat stores. So eating more than needed would keep me fat.

I've been exercising but for weight loss. I had pretty bad & constant knee pain since about March. This was a huge setback. I have been doing knee exercises & other leg/glute exercises. I'm happy to say that my knee pain is nearly gone!

I'm going to take it slow. I'm doing only body weight lower body exercises & I'm going to add 5lbs in a week or 2. Then, gradually increase the weight.

I want to give credit to my husband cause he's been encouraging & listens to me vent lol, about how frustrated I am. He reminds me to take it slow and be patient with myself & I'll reach my goal.

I had my first baby 1 year ago (I have a bonus daughter as well) and gained 40lbs during my pregnancy. I lost about 15 of those lbs in the first year but am still so fatigued and sluggish everyday and I’m really just trying to feel myself again! I want to be a fun mom who can run around with her kids and not be winded just from getting up off of the floor lol. Losing weight would be great, but my true goal is just to be happy and healthy for my babies. Wishing everyone in this challenge luck!

That's awesome. I hope you reach both goals

Oh, I feel you. With my first pregnancy I was extremely fit, with my second one I gained 30 kg (66 pounds), I still want to loose the last 20 pounds. I am sure we can do it! Joined the group to have daily/hourly motivation ..

I am 5 months postpartum on May 27 after baby #3. I gave birth to 2 babies last year (Feb & Dec). I've had some setbacks & here I am now working on losing the excess fat I acquired over the last 3 years.

Wow 2 babies in one year! You’re amazing! I had my first baby 1 year ago, gained 40 lbs while pregnant, lost about 15 in the first 2 months and I’ve been fluctuating between that 15 & 20lb mark. Us moms need to motivate each other, we got this!! :muscle:
