What is everyone’s favorite EASY foods. I’m working 14-18 hours a day during the week and 8ish a day on the weekends. I just don’t have time to cook so when I run out of meal prep from the week, I struggle with what to turn to. I’ve been grabbing those easy salad bags, protein packs with nuts and cheese, veggie packs but any other ideas would be great! When I haven’t had something healthy I notice I just don’t eat (not good!) so any help is appreciated!!!

Get some of those large glass jars - you can prep them (quickly) with some raw veggies and protein and angel hair rice noodles, then just add hot/boiling water when you're ready for a meal - let it set for 10-15 min and you've got a fresh, fiber & protein packed meal! (Super low fat, too - unless you're Adding some sauce/oil)

I just got one of the walking pads for my desk at work! I don’t use it long ever. Like 10 mins but multiple times a day. I work 14-18 hours a day at two different jobs (trying to buy a house…) and wasn’t getting ANY exercise in so I consider it a win

I hardly logged in last month and missed two of my weigh-ins. With that being said, dietbet is now on my home screen, and I plan to be a lot more active in the upcoming months. :) Hopefully this will keep me accountable and help push me forward on this short month we have!

  • I am grateful to the group reminding me that February is a short month, with minimal room to play catch-up. It’s freezing cold here and all I want to do is cozy up and watch TV. Instead I’m going to jump on the elliptical and watch TV. And then bundle up and go to Pilates tonight at 6.

We are well into that Arctic cold front as well here in Alberta. All my heated horse waterers froze Sunday night, so I was hauling water for 12 horses by hand in this, definitely kept me losing weight! Fortunately two of them mostly fixed, but not the chicken one yet, waiting for parts, so still a little water hauling each day to keep me :muscle: buying farm animals is my substitute for gym membership :grin:

Hey all! I’m having a situation and wondering if anyone can relate. I have a HORRIBLE diet but decided enough was enough. I’m kind of an all or nothing personality so I went full strength eating healthy on the 1st. Quit soda. But since I’m been eating healthy, I’m having near constant stomach pain. I’m not eating anything new to me. I’m eating 1400-1600 calories a day. Just curious if anyone else experienced this when they made a big change. No other symptoms. Just pain.

When I had a lot of stress, the walls of my stomach were affected. When my stomach was empty, it would hurt. I always had to make sure some friendly, mild food was there, like banana or oatmeal or potato soup.
I assume on 1400-1600 calories per day you have empty stomach parts of the day.
Try to find friendly low cal foods that work for you. But most of all: Have your stomach checked out and/or bring the stress down!
This is no joke! Please take good care of yourself!

I feel like I’m eating all day compared to before. The pain is more after I eat for sure. Stress is real though. If it doesn’t go away by the 14th I’ll for sure call!
