I did my 30 minute walk tonight. I’m keeping things simple for this challenge, primarily just walks and counting calories.

Okay time to be real. This is my 8th time starting a diet bet and I’ve never finished one. But that is about to change. I can’t wait to fit into my jeans again so I can stop wearing leggings everywhere. I can’t wait to change my cravings to healthier options. And I can’t wait to feel comfortable just walking down the street.

I use to be a personal trainer and worked out 3-4 times a day and ate the healthiest of meals all day. Then Covid hit and I turned to comfort food like pizza rolls and mac and cheese + whiskey and beer. I know how to make healthier versions of both of those things and I need to say no to that after work drink.

I can’t wait to finish this diet bet with you all and finally see progress in this journey of becoming comfortable again

Yeahhh that’s very very relatable.

I’m holding on to the fact that there are 3 months left in the year and I don’t want to go into the year with another New Year’s resolution to lose weight!

Same! I was super focused up until summer started and then would try to get back on track and sign up for DietBets and just not be into it. But I’m now focusing on the things I did when I was losing weight and thinking about how good it made me feel and I want to get back to that healthy mindset. We can do this!!
