I asked this in Ilana’s Zoom question thread, but sharing here for more input from the group. Regarding “I can’t have that” vs “I don’t want that”, what is the conversation you have in your head that moves you to not wanting it? For example, I want alcohol in the moment on Friday night, but don’t want to feel the way I do the next day. I know I will end up at “I don’t want that”, but I seem to need to talk myself out of it in the moment.
