  • The hunger got me real bad at dinner time tonight. Water wasn't doing it for me. I caved and made my family frozen pizza. How do you fight through those hangry moments?

Also, thanks for the tip, tricks and ideas. I do the toothbrushing as soon as I'm done with dinner to prevent late night snacking and that definitely helps!

Ashlee S.

Have the pizza, eat the correct serving and pair it with a large side salad with a low calorie dressing!

  • I joined this at 6 weeks postpartum and then I have been second guessing it-worrying calorie restriction would kill my milk supply. Any thoughts on this from other mamas out there?? Picture of my sweet little man 💙

I’ve breastfed all my kids. I’d suggest waiting until 12 weeks, unless you’re a seasoned breastfeeding mom. Your supply doesn’t fully regulate until then, and right now, your body needs all the nutrients it can get. I’m currently breastfeeding too, but my youngest is 13 months.

Also, doctors and nutritionist are not always well versed in breastfeeding.

Question- is final weigh in on September 8th - 9th or 10th? It shows August 12 - September 8th but on the bottom it shows September 9-10 final weigh in

  • I didn't chicken out! I went to my first cross fit class. I didn't give up. I am already sore. And I may even go back! Victory!

  • My go-to dinner lately: mixed greens, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, grilled chicken, tzatziki sauce mixed with a bit of balsamic vinaigrette and topped with tumeric and black pepper.

  • Grilled chicken with my hubby tonight & decided to pair it with some shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes, & also topped with sour cream + salsa! Yum! We've been on a salad kick lately but I'm not mad about it as its so easy and an easy way to get all the veggies! We also made extra chicken to have easy for meals this week. What's your favorite healthy go to meal?

Since I really don't cook. I grab some atkins frozen meals. Easy and convenient!

I make a huge batch of quinoa tabbouleh: quinoa, minced cilantro, diced tomatoes and peppers and cukes, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. So yum. Lasts in my fridge for a week. Can get fancy and top with feta, olives, chicken, chickpeas, etc.

  • Spent the morning walking around the zoo with my kiddos, trying to make sure we were moving the whole time. 2 1/2 hours, whew!
