I need to be more decisive about my food decisions, only I can control them!
Last night I ate an early dinner before friends came over after a few hours they were still here! Lol She wanted to order pizza. It was not in my plan nor did I even have any desire to have any. She said Sarah you have to have pizza, so I had a slice. I’m using this as a learning experience and I JUST listened to Ilanas pod cast about food pushers! Now I can have a few ways to handle that situation and not feel bad for others for not eating! Does anyone feel bad or feel they need to take part with eating in social settings?

I have gained 20lbs since having my babies. Lately, with all the rage on increased protein, eating enough carbs, lifting, decreased cardio, getting 10 000 steps, I have found myself spinning trying to check off all the boxes. It has actually gotten me to an unhealthy place, and I have gained weight instead of lost. I had an epiphany last night to stop focusing on all these different things and to just focus on intuitive eating, portion control (calorie deficit) and the exercise I love to do (hit, lifting, running), which has worked for me before. Anyone else feeling stressed about all the things we are “supposed to” focus on now to lose weight?

I agree. I’m right there with you…Im am finding as much as I love 2b mindset I start to just feel hungry, (I will start her book soon maybe I’m just not eating enough fiber filled carbs?) so I am going to do more water more veggies and a sensible meal. I’ll also be tracking the food I eat to make sure I’m in a deficit.

  • Hey hey friends!! I’m Kayla! I lost 130 pounds with Ilana’s 2B Mindset and LOVE the program! The last ten months have been a bit of a struggle and I’ve really stalled out and struggled to lose the last 10-15. My mindset really shifted and I’m looking to get back in it fully! Sarah, I really got into a rhythm and routine and my mindset was just different. We moved our family (with two toddlers!) to a new state this year and it’s just been hard. I definitely started going back to eating for comfort some times or just treating a lot more often. It’s so much easier for me when I’m not treating at all with super addictive foods but I let my guard down and have had a harder time getting back into the groove.

My meals have always just been in line with 2B Mindset and it really did make all the difference! I love any recipe Ilana throws out and was just open to trying new things! I love veggies anyways so it’s been easy for me to find delicious meals that I like. I also used social media to help myself stay accountable lol so I’m hoping by sharing my journey and my story again and with this, that it will help me with that accountability piece.

I gave up on dietbet when I couldn't join hers but I'm currently on holiday so thought I would check in case she had come back and jumped when I saw this!
