We are so close!!! I just wanted to share a little victory over here, I’m learning some new healthy lifestyle habits that I hope will serve me for a long time. I know it’s almost weigh in time and going to be close for me, so I’m trying to be extra mindful. However yesterday I took my teen daughters out for a special day of shopping and nails and brunch for back to school. I was seriously craving a pancake although I knew it wasn’t the ‘best’ choice for me weight wise. I went back and forth debating and finally went for it. But was super reasonable—just a single and paired it with Turkey sausage. I ate mindfully and felt satisfied after. Had a similar situation at dinner—we have been making a pasta dish that uses some tasty fresh summer ingredients but I knew pasta wasn’t my ‘best’ choice. Went for it anyway but dished up a very balanced portion, and was happy. My personal takeaway is that I can have the tasty foods just in moderation so that I don’t go overboard later, from deprivation

They make better choices in both this items. There's keto mix for pancakes and waffles (so you can have less carbs than the regular) and there's protein noodles and raos marinara sauce. You can still have the things you want just have to find those better options. And now I want a waffle

Indulging in moderation is good for long term success.

I’m no closer to my goal I’m so sad. This morning has been crappy. I was working out and my dog knocked over the mirror in the gym. I had to stop to clean it up before they stepped on glass. Before that I had to stop my workout because my other dog got something in his eye. So I had to try to clean him up. So now I have to get dressed for work. And I gain .2 not that it’s bad but I’m 5lbs from my goal. I’m feeling defeated.

Thank you all. You all made me feel better. I will get up and do my best tomorrow.

Weight loss is more about diet than exercise.

For eating fruit and vegetables and other prepared food I’ve enjoyed our newest meal containers with snap lids. Also saves money and time when you can save a meal for later and motivation not to overeat when you can save food.

Magic Bullet (to make sure I get my fruit intake in) and a silicone microwave popcorn air popper (for fresh, no-oil popcorn for snacking!)
