I have lost 15 pounds so far through diet only, which goes to show how awful my eating habits were šŸ˜… Iā€™ve worked on portion control, not eating after dinner, and only drinking water. I should be really proud of those 15 pounds but that little voice in the back of my head says I could have lost more, which I definitely could have! In fact in past diets I have lost significantly more. The problem is that wasnā€™t sustainable. With what Iā€™m doing now Iā€™m not withholding any foods from myself, Iā€™m just lessening the amount which will be way more sustainable in the long run. This month Iā€™ll be working on a mental goal by trying to tell that little voice that slow and steady wins the race šŸ¢

Every year my friends have done a walk, run/jog 10 mile challenge on New Years Day and every year I have never participatedā€¦ tomorrow will be my first time and let me tell you I am BIG nervous šŸ˜‚

I did 2 5kā€™s in 2023 (first time ever) so this will be my longest run so far but Iā€™m definitely up for the challengeā€¦ iā€™ll let you guys know how it goes

  • WEEK 1 Workouts: Feel free to post what you're doing!

    One thing that keeps me motivated is having videos to help me train. There are so many gimmick and quick fixes out there but it really comes down to consistency over time.

    I've really grown to love to channel Tiff X Dan (Picture on this post). They have hundreds (If not thousands) of workouts! Doing a workout is as easy as starting up a video and then following along.

    Right now I'm doing 4 workouts a day (Stretching, core, yoga, weights). This may seem extreme but most of the workouts are 15-20 minutes and stretching/yoga are low intensity.

Iā€™ve used HASFit on and off for years. Off just because of my lack of motivation. I always go back to them! Free on YouTube and they also have an app with pre-planned 30-90 day programs for pretty much anything you could want to workout.

Hi everyone! This is my first DietBet and hoping Iā€™m not overdoing it by jumping into a transformer! Iā€™m really good at losing weight for a short time, but then really bad at sticking with it after the first month or two šŸ˜… Iā€™m hoping this will help keep me going for more long term changes!

I'm terrible at keeping it off. I gained back everything from the last challenge, so in 2025 I'm layering several bets, so I start a new one before an old one ends. Hopefully that will keep me from backsliding...
