  • I'm a newbie, so please bear with me if this is a lot of posting. I made it two days in deficit. I have tracked before, and had a few strings of days. But, this time I'm in it for for the long haul, and I'm weighing for the first time. I'm so glad I made it another day. Today seems just as hard as the last two, and I need prayers (from anyone comfortable with that) that I make it today. My kids are stressing me out 😄. Very little sleep last night. I actually can't believe the scale is going down. I've NEVER intentionally lost weight before. I hope for everyone's day to go great! Thanks for the support so far. 😀

  • Update! Thank you! I made it through Wednesday. Thursday was wild, going out to eat with family and I thought I was sunk, but the whole day came together. I'd be blind without my food tracker! It wasn't my strength though, I really appreciate your prayers. Honestly, thank you!!!!

  • First workout of 2025.

    Just a cardio dance workout because after a week of illness I wanted to do something fun and light.
    Going to start lifting again on Monday but for now I'm just going to do cardio dance to get back into the routine.

  • Today is my 31st birthday…. I moved to a new state a few months ago for a job and I still don’t really have any friends here, so I took myself out for a birthday dinner. I’ll be honest, I have been super discouraged all day because no one really remembered my birthday, and so I ate my emotions at dinner. Here’s to a fresh start tomorrow…

Today is day four for me. I am so grateful to God, I'm ending the day meeting my calorie deficit goal. The first three days I consumed equal to what I burned, according to my app. Which was still good for me, as I'd regularly been exceeding my burned calories by a long shot. Grateful for today!

  • Sweaty Saturday! Getting ready to get lots of snow in Indiana so getting my workouts done before that happens & adjusting the plan, not the goal! Not how I wanted to start out the new year. I tested positive for Covid. I can’t smell or taste anything. I also can’t breathe real well.
