This is the 2nd DietBet I won, but with the $5 membership, overall I lost money. Years ago, this was never the case when I played. When I’d win, I’d always profit a bit. Is everyone making their goal all of the sudden or is there something else going on?

Hi TiffanyNicole, typically games around the first of the year do tend to have lower winners because more players are hitting their goals.
Also, games with $100 bets tend to have a higher percentage of winners because players work harder to not lose that $100.

My comment/question wasn’t posted… Did everyone meet their goal? Prior years that I did DietBet, if I won, I always profited a bit, but so far I’ve won 2 games and overall I lost money due to the $5 membership fee. What’s changed?

The games have gotten a little smaller and when there is less people in a game their tends to be a higher winning percentage. 52 out 65 people won, but remember dietbet takes a 20% fee to run the website. I just want you know also that the membership fee is optional. I actually don't recommend it for the very reason you pointed out, it puts you at risk of losing money. But, if you don't have a membership you are covered by dietbet's policy that if you win the game you won't lose any money. With all that said, it is still rare to break even on a game. The majority of the time there are winnings to split among the game winners.

Help! I need reassurance lol
Ive been consistent with tracking macros, working out, eating mostly clean... but Im gaining weight?
Any idea what this might be? I know water weight is a thing, and hormones... but its kinda worrying me lol.

Kelsy! Okay your comment made me actually kinda excited about that weight gain, lol! I work out maybe 4 days a week, and I didnt know that about sodium! Thats interesting! Youve encouraged me to do some research - thank you for your comment!!

Depending on how much you are up muscle weighs more than fat. So as your body builds more muscle your weight can fluctuate. Muscle is smaller than fat though so you could still be losing inches that is why sometimes non scale victories are important.
