Weight machines are my least favorite I'd much rather use dumbells, kettlebells, or barbells for workouts.

Need a recommendation: I’m keeping track of my food intake, and I’d like to also track the breakdown of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. I’m too cheap to upgrade MyFitnessPal to ‘Premium’ to do so . Any suggestions for an App or web site to accomplish this?

I third Cronometer - free version. The only thing I dislike is it tells you Net Carbs and I'd rather see the total carbs.

  • Hey all! Thought I'd introduce myself ~ I'm a wife & mom working on figuring out what fitness looks like as I approach 40 ????. I do crossfit 4-6 days a week & have recently started running again. Nothing crazy, 1-4 miles for now. I did my first Spartan 5K a couple of weeks ago!

    I have 35ish lbs left to lose. I'm hoping this dietbet will help me stay on track as we approach the holiday season.

  • HAPPY WORKOUT WEDNESDAY!

    My run is done and my legs already hurt but the pups are happy.

    How are you getting some movement in today? It doesn't have to be a big ordeal, even just a 7 minute walk is a great start.

    Or maybe some curls with light weights? Gardening before the end of the season? Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming your entire home? 😄

Mopped & vacuumed before work. After work - deep cleaned at son’s house. He’s been in Alaska for 6 months - welcome home to a clean space!
That was my clean-workout. Back to walking tomorrow!

I have gone back and forth lately because of stress eating! Ive been stuck and can’t get passed coming out of the low 230s but staying stuck in the 220s have been a big thing for me so my plan on this bet is to exceed my 4% goal this time. I’m ready to take my life back

    Welcome to our mid-October DietBet Kickstarter. Super excited to see you all reach your goals this month. Is this your first game or are you a DietBet veteran?

    Our game officially starts tomorrow but the Initial Weigh-in window is now OPEN! You’ve got about 13 days to get that submitted but of course, the earlier the better.

    Here are some helpful tips to ensure that your weigh-in is approved.

    1) Be sure that your full body shot is head to toe.
    2) Your face must be clearly visible so make sure your phone is not blocking it.
    3) The dress code for official weigh-ins is light indoor clothing with no shoes, belt, hat, or outerwear. Pockets must be empty. No pocketbooks, watches, or other accessories.
    4) Your weigh-in word must be written on a piece of paper and included in the scale photo. These weigh-in words are our way of time-stamping the weights we receive, to make sure they are current for all players and they do change so it's best to double check the word during the weigh-in process and submit the photos soon after taking your photos.
    5) You’ll receive an email notification once your weigh-in is received and a second email letting you know that it has been approved. Please be sure to view this email just in case there are any issues that require you to resubmit.
