So cool!!!

When I tried to choose meals on the link it didn’t work. I entered my name email and zip code and it never went anywhere. Can you send me another way to look at the options?

Is anyone doing games on WayBetter? Is it worth it? As in, is the $69 for 6 months made up in what you win from the games you join?

I always play 10 games, plus a morning routine that's not under thr 10 limit. Yes, there's an investment aspect to it. I started slow, bht it was a couple of years ago. I just got money for all the games I finished this week, and I got back 12.50$.

For me it has honestly chsnged my life.
I love the money, its an awedome incentive for me, but i feel like i hsve s personal rrainer, snd i choose games based on what i wsnt to focus on

Shannon L.

That's great! I'm glad it's working for you!

  • Finally FINALLY starting to lose significant weight. Lost 2lbs last week, 1lb the week before. I don't love the diet I'm on but I'm usually never hungry and finally seeing results. Here's what I made a few nights ago--pork chops, pan-seared apples with vinegarette, and cauliflower puree.

Yum! Do you make the bread or buy it? I would love a good recipe for keto bread.

BeLightFul

Same thoughts. Did you make the bread?

If someone wins the first 5 weigh ins, but doesn't win the last round, do you still keep thr money you won?

Thanks.

5th round and final round weigh-in goals are the same.

Lurel

Yes, you still get winnings from previous rounds even if you don’t win the final.

Sometimes I have these thoughts of I wish I were already lighter. I wished I was a few kilos less than I am right now, and instead of appreciating where I am, I wish I was somewhere else.

But in reality, there is someone out there who is my height and weighs more than me, right, there has to be at least 1 person in the world, maybe 2! And they probably, if had my silly mindset, wished they were my weight. So, in reality, if I were focused on the good things, I would be appreciative of my weight right now, because it's good. It's a good place to be!!

So I guess I'm going to celebrate the weight I am, right now! I'm going to celebrate that I don't weigh more than I do, and just be happy with my number because it's not a horrible number, it doesn't reflect who I am. It's not me. It's a number on a scale, and it is slowly, moving in the right direction, which is a reflection of my focus and attention to self-care!!!!!

Start talking to yourself with love. Ask yourself what do I love about me? What do I love about my body? Why think of the things that you love think of the things that you believe that are positive and true to you. Focus on the positive, appreciate what you love about yourself. Focus on those things. On what you want, where you want to be. Visualize it see it happening. See it as attainable. Give yourself some positive affirmations. Write them on Post-it notes. Look at them, say them out loud.

Hope everyone is doing well. We are entering round 3, and I am honestly becoming a little bit uncomfortable.

Right now, as we begin round 3, I am at my "normal/comfortable/regular" overweight weight. I had gained some weight over a stressful time, knew I could get up to here, comfortably. But I didn't want to do a 1-month bet because 4% is too much, and it feels like a diet. I chose the 6 month one because it feels like a lifestyle change, rather than a diet.

I am now entering real, real weight loss, and that is something that I suck at very much. I have been this weight for 20 years or so. And now I am going to enter the uncomfortable zone.

Now I know what to do to lose weight, I've got the tools in my brain, maybe my pocket, but from knowing what to do to actually doing it, there's a big gap.

And I think showing up for myself everyday in different ways is the way to be present and Gd willing heading in the right direction.

It sounds like this is where you need to be to keep losing the weight! Keep pushing through the discomfort. That's where real change and progress is made!

Since I started doing diet bets mid-March, really focusing on losing weight with clear goals, I have lost 20 lbs. My clothes are feeling looser (including underwear!), and people are noticing.

I am doing multiple bets simultaneously for extra motivation. It's working for me.

Shannon, sounds like you found your way!!!!

Well, I am not particularly close to my round 2 goal, but I’ve been struggling with the same 10 pounds for the last 10 months and I am below that amount so I’ll take the win! Next step, the 20 pounds I’ve been stuck on for the last 7 years.

I am right there with you, not close to my round 2 goal and just looking at round 3 makes it seem even harder. I was hoping this would shake up my plateau but not yet. Going to keep doing what I’m doing and hope for the best. All we can do is

Shannon L.

I did an "egg fast" and morphed that into a keto diet, eating at a calorie deficit. It has been working pretty well for me, but I was .1 lb shy of my goal.

Yesterday, I hosted a graduation party for my daughter. I turned my house into a bakery because she is going into baking and pastry / culinary arts. I had been baking all week, staying up until midnight every day (plus working my real full time job). I loved every minute of it, even though I couldn't so much as lick my fingers.

I had a few non-keto treats at the party and today. I'll get back on track tomorrow.
