  • I was about a pound from hitting my goal. I decided to cut out of work early yesterday and did a half marathon. I crossed my fingers and hoped today’s weight would be at my goal. Instead I woke up with my period and slight weight gain. 😅😂???????????

    Here’s the thing; I ended STRONG! I’m motivated and signing up for Decembers bet. Hope to see you all there.

  • Peeps, this week has been such a scale Rollercoaster. I started Monday at 208.5- 1lb away from my goal for this bet. Ate well, not perfect, worked out and by Wednesday the scale was 211.4. But.....I had a great victory.

    My old mindset would have just said "F this, I might as well eat what I want." But this looming deadline forced a shift. And I instead thought "How can I keep nourishing my body (and not starving myself, the other side of my all-or-nothing past) and get the scale moving down?" Because I knew water weight was a big part.

    Today was 208.4!!! I've got 1lb to go. Even if I don't make weight, I'm so proud of myself for the mindset change.

    What's your mindset victory?

I hit another 2 pound goal this morning! My next 2 pound goal will bring me into a new decade! I haven’t seen the 140’s since before my second daughter was born (3.5 years ago).

My downfall is a sugary latte, more specifically Pumpkin Spice this time of year. Anyone have any suggestions of how to make it healthy? Or any recommendations of a healthy alternative/customization at popular coffee chains?

We got coffee pods at Sams that are pumpkin spice flavored. I add half and half, but you could add almond milk, stevia, honey, extra cinnamon etc.

I agree with Nicole. Find a creamer you like at the store and make your own. I am not tempted and my fave is pumpkin. I use the silk one
