  • Was inspired by you guys to clean my fridge and meal prep, so threw out all the old food/silly treats in my kitchen and made shepherds pie with cauliflower mash for dinner and meal prep…a little time consuming but love that it’s filled with veggies (onion, garlic, carrots, celery, mushrooms, cauliflower rice) and so good!!

  • My dinners this week have been zucchini lasagna. I kept hearing about how watery it can get but I seared my zucchini slices on both sides for a minute and it came our perfect! I've never even tried to make lasagna, I'm so impressed with my cooking skills improving!

Where are my fish eaters? I like tuna and shrimp as they are low cal, healthy fat and high protein... I could eat either daily but am not sure that's the healthiest. Can someone shed light on this subject? ❤

Careful with the shrimp you buy. It's mostly farm raised. I eat shrimp 3-4 times a week.

They say you shouldn't eat fish more than 2 times a week because of mercury content, I think. Would have to Google it. I love seafood. When going out to dinner, I generally choose salmon.

WATER QUESTION: Sometimes I only have one cup before eating and I don't finish all my water, so I end up drinking a lot in the evening. (No matter WHEN I drink this huge amount of water water I have to do a night pee, so that's not an issue.) I know I should drink more in the daytime, but is squeezing it in at the end of the day still count? Will it still have a positive impact?

To a degree, but sometimes we feel hungrier when we’re dehydrated or thirsty, so might be missing some pre meal benefit.

I find if I drink a lot at night it will affect the scale vs getting all my water in my 7 or 8. Good job getting all of your water in!
