Ahhh so sad I’ve been down with flu and bronchitis… most likely won’t reach goal but have managed to lose 2 lbs - really not been well enough to do the challenge.

After maintaining for FOREVER I was all of a sudden down 2 more lbs today!!!!!! Consistency paid off. This might just be the woosh I needed to get me to the end. Please stay down…please stay down…please stay down!

I’ve been so up and down with emotions…post Disney family vacay blues, overwhelmed with huge holiday to do list and schedule, procrastinating doing all the things on the to do list…thanks to emotional eating/snacking, the scale has been up 4-5 pounds then went down 1-2 pounds, so I am 2-3 pounds above Dietbet goal. Time to snap out of it, drink my water, prep lots of veggies, throw away the silly treats in my house, repeat meals that have led to weight loss in the past, and STOP SNACKING!! Hope everyone is doing well…don’t give up!!!

You can do this. It’s hard to wear too many hats AND stay on top of healthy eating. I’m trying to set a timer for my “todos” to try to beat the clock with a task before moving on the next one . It’s the only way I won’t get distracted and do something else. Keep tracking!!

I just realized that the DietBet countdown says 7 days left but we have until the 19th so that’s more like 9! Come on everybody! We can do this!

After 1st starting DietBet 2 years ago in January. I got sooo close to my goal(a new goal that I had actually set for myself after realizing that so much more was possible for me!) but I never quite got there. I’ve been in my head and my weight went up just a smidge and I’ve been maintaining that but I know I can do this! This one gets me to about 4 lbs above my goal. I’ve lost the last 5ish DietBets I’ve done but Im thankful they did aid in my maintaining. I had a rough start to this one. I haven’t been active and involved in the group like I wanted to be. And then on Friday life dumped a load on me. But it also gave me a huge reminder to take care of me!

I am going to win this!

10k steps a day have been a game changer for me on this diet bet! I got a treadmill for an early Christmas gift to myself and I typically get my last 2k steps after dinner. Definitely has made weight loss way easier during this time of year
