Hi, I'm Lindsay, from Chicago. I was motivated to join the group because I've been in a pretty good mindset lately and wanted to give myself some extra accountability to keep it up during the holidays. My non-scale goal is to get more sleep - I'm a single mom with almost full custody of 3 school age kids and a full time job, so I get so little time to myself that it's hard to make myself go to bed during that brief period of time when the kids are all asleep and I have a little bit of time to myself.

Hi! I'm from Long Island NY. I am doing this diet bet because I've put on some weight that needs to go! And a NSV I'm working on is feeling better in my clothes.

Have been really enjoying 2B program and encouraging friends with similar goals to join too. Even meal prepped with a friend last weekend. Made it really fun.

0.1 oz away from my goal ! Sooooooo close. Any tips? I’ve been eating only 2b recipes for a week and the scale has moved significantly, BUT I need to get rid of that final ounce. $35 is on the line LOL

Go for a walk after your last meal!

Shana S.

Did everything right yesterday, chicken & broccoli for dinner. Zero snacks. Followed plate it for B & L. Did a super intense peloton ride , so much sweat. Still exact same weight.. maybe my broccoli was too salty ?! My daughter did complain… haha . Hopefully by tomorrow that one ounce will be gone!

  • Hubby wanted pizza last night so we made a homemade protein crust with chicken. It was so good and so much protein! Topped with mushrooms and onions and sausage. Highly recommend this crust!

Large can of chicken beast (recipe called for 2 but we used 1 large)
1 egg
1/4 c Parmesan cheese
We also added Italian seasoning

Bake for 30 mins on 375

Add sauce, bake for 8 minutes

Add cheese and toppings bake for 8-10 minutes

Nana of 5

I also make this crust and it hits that need for pizza! Another great thing to do is roll them into balls and throw in air fryer for chicken meatballs..they freeze well and easy to grab when want a great snack or quick meal. Can chicken is good but fresh or frozen chicken breasts even better, just boil and shred!

How do you all decide what your final "goal weight" is? Not for this game but just overall.

I haven’t decided yet. I’m focusing on getting to where I feel really good. I have a number in mind that I was before kids, but even if I can get to where I am physically active, running every day, and doing yoga. Where I feel strong and lean, then I am ok being a little above that weight. It’s not just a number it’s more how I feel.
I want to be able to wear high heels.
No back pain and hip pain.
Run comfortably a few miles.
Shrink my stomach.
Feel strong.
Sustain the weight in a manageable maintenance mode that feels good!
For a BMI reference my goal is a 21.6. Right in the middle of the “healthy range”.

Erin A.

Great mindset Christina! I’m struggle with focusing in a number that’s at the bottom of my range and I forget that a number is not the be all end all. Need to keep all of what you said in mind!

It’s the weight we have to be at to win the bet. It’s at the top of this page, but it’s 4% less than you started at. The formula is (initial weight) - 0.04* (initial weight).
Example: initial weight = 200lbs
200 - 0.04*200 = 192
192 would be your goal weight.

Carmey M.

If you mean like your " goal GOAL weight"...go by what your bmi and height vs weight in a traditional/medical sense should be. I'm 5'7 but I naturally have a larger build. My goal weight is 175. Im presently 211. My highest weight ever was 293. Proud of myself thus far and three kids later. Cant wait to be under 200...i used to think " yeah right" but as of now Im only 12 pounds away from One-derland! Currently also trying to lose this last 2 pounds to win this particular dietbet. Best of luck to you!!!

I hit another 2 pound goal this morning! My next 2 pound goal will bring me into a new decade! I haven’t seen the 140’s since before my second daughter was born (3.5 years ago).

I find about every 10 pounds I reach a plateau. Now I’m just about down to my last 10 pounds. I need some suggestions on how to loose these last 10 pounds. I’ve switched to leaner proteins like shrimp and natural FFC’s like fruit and starchy veggies like corn. Any other tips would be great!
