  • Yesterday's main meals:
    Breakfast - Banana & egg pancakes
    Lunch - SF chicken & veggies
    Tea - Chicken fajitas (I added some yoghurt after the photo since it was too spicy for me when I started eating it)

    Today would normally be a run day for me, but since we skipped my son's theatre class due to the snow (when I'd normally run), instead my movement was sledging and Body Combat.

2 non scale victories this week Thursday work had a breakfast potluck , I walked in looked at the food walked out and ate what I packed! Today my family ordered Pappa John’s I decided to order a veggie pizza bowl from pappa John’s didn’t eat the pizza!

    For all my non-British peeps in here who don't know what Children in Need is, to save you a Google search:
    "A host of celebrities get together for the BBC's annual telethon in an effort to raise money for Children in Need. All donations go to the charity that helps improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people around the UK. Famous faces join Pudsey the bear, the organisation's mascot, for a night of fundraising. Viewers can expect to see sketches, comedy routines, challenges and music performances.   • I’m a day off in my LIIFT4 the Holidays calendar, but I wanted to do the HIIT to more morning. Today was chest and tri’s and my arms are toast

  • That's week 1 done ✔ I'm loving being back with LIIFT4 (I've done 5 full rounds in the past) 💪

    I usually run on Wednesday and Saturday while my kid is as his sports classes, but since I had a rest day on Wednesday this week, I threw it way back today getting out my DVDs for Combat30, and what I see as the true baby Joel....Pump (Sports Attack workout).... who remembers these?! Joel Freeman, making our butts hurt since 2011! 🍑

    Also, I know this is primarily a 2B group but with some doing different things for nutrition, so I hope it's OK to say that I signed up to Weight Watchers on Friday....Wow that was eye opening for all the hidden sugars I've been eating!! Especially since I thought I was making good choices based on the previous plan I was following (I'll not name names but it wasn't 2B). Thankfully this group has kept me accountable when it comes to sugar addiction and cravings, but I'm so glad to see that my 'failings' haven't been entirely down to me being weak, and actually I just wasn't eating as 'well' as I thought I was. Some tweaks here and there and what a difference!

Certainly :blush::
- Having half a breakfast muffin instead of a full one.
- Grilled chicken breasts instead of rotisserie chicken.
- 0% fat natural yoghurt instead of Yeo Valley natural yoghurt.
- Fresh fruit only instead of tinned (I'd been having half a tin of peaches (in juice) and have swapped them for a clementine).
- 5g honey in my shake instead of 10g.
- 2B Banana Egg Pancakes for breakfast on a weekend instead of ham and egg croissant with a fruit smoothie.
- Halved the amount of feta in my evening meal (broccoli, cauliflower, turkey mince, feta, rice, honey & mustard).
- Chicken breast with my soup instead of a wholegrain roll.
