I met my round 6 goal! So I joined another kickstarter. I just want to get out of the overweight range. I think doing another transformer will help motivate me. Knowing that I met my goal for the transformer is great but I need to keep the motivation going!

One of the best moments in the weight loss journey is when you make a change in the second number in your weight. It doesn’t happen as fast as the third number so it feels like a huge accomplishment. My goal is to change it 2 more times before the end of this challenge. Good luck to everyone.

Dropping down that second number is huge! Going from 200 to 199 was huge too! I feel like I lose sight of the big picture because when I don't excited for each lbs.

@Naomi they are the Mary's Gone Crackers Super Seed - they have 3g of fiber, and 5g of protein, so definitely a more well rounded cracker option, and the fiber (from rice & quinoa) probably add to the prebiotic benefits!

I’m not making my weight this round. In fact, this morning I weighed more than I did at the end of the first round. That’s disappointing and a bit discouraging, but clearly I haven’t REALLY been putting the work in. If it was easy to lose weight, I wouldn’t join a bet to push myself to do it. I’ve put a reasonable plan into place and I’m committing to it. I’m determined to win the remaining rounds.

Hi. I am out of town and while I meant to bring my scale, I forgot! I just weighed out of another diet bet on 2/26 but that exceeds the two day allowance to be reused. Can I weigh at the hotel fitness center for my final round 2 weigh in despite it being a different scale than my initial weigh in?

I had to do that on a prior Diet Bet! I had to drag the scale across the room in a busy hotel gym to get it in front of the mirror.

  • Just wanted to share this transformation pic with you all. This is a time span of 7 weeks. I'm really proud of myself for how far I've come. But I am just getting started! 💪????💓

    Editing to add what has been working for me: I have been doing the FASTer Way to Fat Loss program. It's intermittent fasting, counting macros, working out daily (30 min), getting 8-10k steps, drinking a ton of water and cutting out starchy carbs and sugar. But the main thing that's different for me is my mindset has completely changed. I am now looking at this as a. Lifestyle change rather than a way to get skinny. I just want to be strong and healthy.

  • I'm so excited!! When we started this challenge, I posted that I had some super high Liver panel results, and was very upset. I am happy to say that in 1 month, saying no to alcohol (2 drinks a night is what I was averaging in December...) adding in exercise, keeping an eye on fiber, and shaving off 6-7 lbs, I was able to drastically cut those numbers!! One back to normal, the other is really close!

    2 eggs cut I to 4 slices
    Carrots
    Coffee with coconut milk

    Need Whole30 breakfast ideas. I love eggs and egg whites in many forms. Scrambled, casserole, boiled, etc...
    But I want toast, a small pancake with a fruit bowl on the side, oatmeal, and cram of wheat.

    Which aside from the fruit bowl are not on plan this month.

Tell me about the coffee with coconut milk! How does it taste? How many calories does it add up to? Do you add any sweetener, or does the coconut milk do that? Thanks!

I just use the so delicious one 6-8oz (45cal for 8oz) and the rest coffee.
It helps in that it doesn't taste as black. Sometimes, I'll add 1-2 tbsp of non-dairy creamer.
It all depends on the day. But when we are not out of so delicious, I use it.

Yesterday I was pretty down, upset with myself, and almost ready to give up. I couldn’t believe I didn’t make my round 1 goal (which is usually the easiest especially after the holidays.

Well after not being very good yesterday (wine and popcorn last night) I woke up and found myself 2 lbs down…that’s a lb under the goal…just one day too late.

Does anyone else find their weight fluctuates up and down a lot for no reason? I make all my food at home, very little sodium, and calories are about the same each day.

I lost the $20 for round one but am motivated now to win! I need to get ahead of round 2 so I have a buffer at weigh in time since the scale is so unpredictable!

Happy to see so many people doing well! Let’s keep going.

I weighed on Saturday and thought, hey I can bet this and be lighter tomorrow. I was heavier.

What irritates me is if I just focus on being in a calorie deficit and drinking water the weight comes off pretty reliably, as soon as I add any exercise in, it goes up and that does not add to any motivation to workout for sure.
