So sad… I got within a pound of my goal weight, but started my period two days before weigh in. I don’t know about you girls, but I knew that was going to be an uphill battle… I gained back 3 pounds by the official weigh in this evening. 😔 I loved playing the DietBet, though! Next round, I’ll look for one where the timing is a little bit more friendly with my cycle! 😉

I completely understand sadly through my cicles I always gained up to 10 pounds that’s just what my body did. That’s no longer my case after menopause early.. I feel your pain.

Hi everyone! I’m new here it’s my first challenge. I
Hope to stay motivated, I know it’s all mental and I want to feel better. I’m pretty active but I do admit it’s the cravings that get me😨 I also have a problem getting my protein in. Doing this with you all is very motivating it’s impressive to have 619 participants.. let’s do this! Even if I don’t win I know I will gain knowledge from this group. I’m so glad to be here. One thing I do for cravings that my nutritionist told me…take one treat and portion it out for a little bit each day, if needed. For example, it’s it’s a chocolate bar. Cut it up into 7 pieces and if you need it, then give yourself that one piece and that’s your piece for the day. You can do this with chips, sweet treats or whatever your craving is. Then you get a little, without over indulging.

This is my first game ever! I’m not sure exactly how this all works, but I’ll be uploading my entry photos tonight. I’m a little nervous to see my weight. It’s been a while. But I’m excited for this game.
