  • Just got back from grocery store and found “side away foods” balsamic beet noodles and Moroccan tagine …. Any thoughts on the nutritional labels? Good bit of sugar in the beets one but only 3 grams added…

  • Dinner tonight is a turkey burger, honey roasted carrots and okra. I think okra is my all time favorite veggie. I could’ve eaten the entire tray I made tonight!

I have never had okra. Do you just air fry it?

Fighting hard to not lose steam. I face planted yesterday, but stayed intentional with the first half of the day. I can’t stay there and I’m not proud of it, but I’m owning it, which I never would have done before. I would’ve left that part of the tracker empty and moved on.

If you make a not so great choice just think “my next immediate choice will balance out this one”
If you drink a shot, drink a water next.
If you eat chips, eat some baby carrots next. Don’t “punish” yourself, just think of EACH choice as an individual decision, not as an excuse to continue to eat lots of silly carbs.
No more waiting for Monday. No more “falling of the wagon” you just make each choice one after the other. Some will be healthier than others.
Keep posting for accountability because I am here and I care!!

I didn’t stick to plate-it today as well as I was hoping, but I made MUCH better choices than I have in past years on Thanksgiving and for that I’m so proud of myself! Anticipating a weight gain tomorrow, but like Ilana says, it’s never too late to get back on track! One day doesn’t have to derail me entirely. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving♥

  • first meal of the trip with an entire carton of cherry tomatoes (eaten before the pic 😜)

    gram had a whole wheat tortilla so i chose that over 2 slices of bread. even added some spring mix to the wrap

Ugh so discouraged. Was really getting closer and closer and then the last two days have been up. Just fractions- but no losses. Very frustrating. 2 lbs from goal.

Scales are finicky beasts and sometimes they lie about going up a bit. I have to line mine up with lines on the floor because being in a different place can make the weight slightly different. I wear the same clothes each morning, too, because that can change my weight. Keep going and hang in there. Hopefully it’s just your body hanging on before giving up a good loss for the final weigh in. Or it’s your scale being jealous. Either way, good luck to you!

I took this diet bet to help me gain momentum in losing my last 10 pounds and the scale isn’t moving much so far, but this has still been so worth it! I’m less bloated, feel good in my clothes and have so enjoyed working towards this goal with you all. Y’all inspire me

@ashley such good tips! I tried having a sweet potato as my FFC yesterday and had a major breakthrough - it’s crazy how small tweaks can make such a big difference
