  • Well, it looks like I will meet my diet bet challenge this month but I was reminded of the difficulty in losing or maintaining weight while traveling. I had to be away from home for two weeks. I did better the first week because I prebought my Suja green juices and salads, and declined lunch and dinner invitations. In fact, I even lost weight. Then the second week, I succumbed to the convenience of ordering out. It's never going to be beneficial to dine out because we cannot control what is used in food preparation. We must be in control of our healthy living, of what's uniquely healthy to each of us. Thank you all for accompanying me on this journey

Finally!!! I had been stuck for almost 2 weeks at the same weight even with a low calorie diet and lots of exercise. I was as getting pretty frustrated. Today I woke up and was a little over 1lb down!

  • I started doing salad in a jar and have branched out to a meal in a jar! Makes for an easy and healthy quick lunch or dinner. Easier it is, easier it is to stay on track!

  • 6am and heading home to shower before work. Leg day done. It wasn’t easy to get here at 5am, but today I conquered the mental mountain and showed up for me. 💪

It’s crazy- water is my biggest struggle!! I have the workout/fitness part down. Nutrition is shaky… and water is HORRIBLE. Would love accountability!!

I try to plan out my week every Sunday. That includes meals, workouts etc. when I look ahead and see what’s coming up, I can plan accordingly. The other big piece is to stay connected. When you’re engaged, you’re more mindful
