I totally get it. I think it can work to say this is one day only to enjoy some candy, and still eat your healthy food, and then get back to normal tomorrow.

I also do what Bean does. I use the TDEE calculator to figure out my maintaince calories and take off around 500 calories. So I do 1450 calories. I look for high protein, low calorie meals to be able to eat more but also feel fuller longer. I use the Aussie Fitness cookbook for some recipes.

Try and be conscience of what you are eating. Ex.Eating a 200cal candy bar vs 200cal in strawberries. It's healthier and you get more with the strawberries. Also try to avoid drinking your calories.

  • Hi. I'm confused about the weigh-ins. How often do we weigh-in? I did an unofficial weigh-in today with no picture, but it still says, "Time for a Progress Weigh-in" But when I click that it advertises becoming a member and there's no weigh-in option. I hope this makes sense. Does only the forst and last weigh-in count?

Yes, the progress weigh ins are for members to enter the weekly drawing. You don't have to be a member to participate in the game.

Progress weigh ins are for those who got the membership. The weigh in puts you into their weekly drawing.

The unofficial weigh in is to use if you want. It's not necessary for the game. I use it daily to keep me accountable and to see how much I've lost and how much to go. I love seeing it visually. :)

Ryoku I kind of eyeballed it but I can try to do an approximative mesurent : I used 1 cup of Kodiak protein pancake mix ,1 egg, 1/2 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of butternut squash puree ,1/2 tsp of cinnamon.

Being a member gets your name put into a weekly drawing. it also allows you to join games you normally would not be able to, like a 3% weight loss game vs a 4%.

I became a member last game as well as this game. I feel the weekly weigh ins kept me more on track throughout the entire game and my weight loss was consistent. I’m hoping to win this game as well. Good luck to everyone.

You don't have to be a member. If you are, you can weigh in weekly to be entered into the prize drawing.

DietBet takes 25% of the pot, and winners split the rest. I usually come out $11-$16 ahead of what I paid in.
