  • I’ve been on my spin bike all three days on 2025. About 8km a day and drinking more water. Feeling good heading into the weekend

That’s exactly how I felt! I was 195 and felt like I had so much to lose. Now I’m 265 and dream of being back in the 100’s! Nows the time we’re dedicating ourselves back to the goal!!

  • Comment below what your motivation is! I'll share mine!

-my health - I've seen family members make poor health choices and who now need assistance to live when they're just in their 60s.
-my kids - I was an "older mom" having my first child at 35 and second at 38. They are 3 & 6 right now and I need to be there for them.
-to travel - I've been scared to travel. Mainly due to airplane anxiety but I've been in situations where I've had to ask for the seatbelt extender and I hate it. While last time I flew was in 2017 and I was at my pre-pregnancy weight, I was so happy that I didn't need one at all!
-to be a better mom - While I'm still super active with my girls, I want to be able to jump with them on the trampolines at Urban Air and just run around without the fear of falling and hurting myself.
-for my husband - He deserves to have a healthy mom for his kids. While he has never given me any grief, I still feel bad for still having to recover from my knee injuries and just feeling overall tired due to lots of factors.
Picture of me and my babies at our last adventure of the year yesterday. I will say, I was the only parent who jumped in with the kiddos! lol

I love this! Thanks for sharing! My motivation is to feel better (I struggle with back issues and chronic pain) so I can take better care of my family. I had my kids at 32 and 34. They are teenagers now but I can see the benefits of them seeing me take care of myself. I’m 51 now and I’m trying to adjust to my body changing - eating well and staying strong is so important!

I don’t care what anyone else says, it is SO hard to lose weight with kids because you’re dedicated everything you are and everything you have to them and the family and the house! I have a 4 and 1 year old and I’m also a “geriatric” mom but still hoping to having more kids so I need to get healthy to have the energy to play with them and hopefully carry another pregnancy! Don’t mind my old picture from when I “thought” I was fat (now 70lbs more than than) :weary:

  • Happy New Year! 🎉 2025 is here, and we're ready to crush our goals!

Hi everyone, I'm Nancy, and I'm excited to spend the next four weeks with you. I first heard about DietBet on social media in 2017. I was skeptical but took a chance. I'm so glad I did. I lost 70 pounds and found an amazing community along the way!

Let's commit to prioritizing our well-being and making this the healthiest year yet, filled with nourishing choices, joyful movement, and mindful moments. Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you make your plan to conquer your goals:

Plan your meals: Be prepared by surrounding yourself with healthy choices. Make eating healthy the easiest choice and consider meal prepping.
Schedule your workouts: Treat them like important meetings that can't be missed.
Hydrate like a pro: Find ways to make water fun.
Track your food: Keep it real! Whether you write it down or take pics, accountability helps!
Prioritize sleep: It's crucial for weight loss and overall well-being.
    Don't forget self-care!

What are your goals for this year? Share your plans below and let's support each other every step of the way! 💪

Hi all, my goal is consistency. Drink more water, swim, and get back to the gym.

Jill S.

I want to take one step at a time during my healing journey, so I'm breaking my goals into fundamental, buildable steps each week:
Week 1- Drink 2L H2O per day
Week 2- Consistently track my meals (calories and macros)
Week 3- Sleep 7-8 hours each night (Consistent sleep routine and sleep prior to midnight each night)
Week 4- 6k steps each day --I'm hoping that this is realistic by our 4th week since I just had ankle surgery two days ago
