  • Weekend= new goal. I decided to test to see if I could go further than 2 miles jogging today. I did! 2.3 miles in 38 minutes. Slow and steady winds the race!

2.3 miles is awesome! You can really be proud of yourself. A little more than five times this distance and you can run a Half-marathon

Jackie R.

A half marathon seems daunting but I think a 10K is a reasonable goal!! Thank you

Ive been starting to just jog instead of walking/jogging. I calculated my run yesterday and figured out that I am able to jog for 2 miles! This is so exciting for me! My weight hasn't gone down but I'm going to keep trying to lose weight. For me, starting to jog again is a victory in itself. I wonder what's next?

9-months postpartum and I’m still struggling with consistency in healthy eating and workouts. Any advice for a new mom trying to get back to old habits?

Baby is watching. Show them how to rock it! And congrats, this is a world-shifting event.

Sharon T.

Congrats on the baby! Maybe also try stuff that incorporates baby, like walks with the stroller or one of those stroller workout classes

So very proud of myself right now. I'm out of state visiting family and still went for my morning walk/ jog. In a different location, at a later time than normal, in warmer weather than usual. I did it and I am so happy that I did. Trips and family gatherings have always been a time to "relax" and have always been excused to retreat back to unhealthy eating habits. Not today. If you are struggling this morning: you can get up and move. I promise you.

  • In June, I was beginning to recover from a serious year-long health setback. I had gained a lot of weight and everything hurt. I have lost 30 pounds since June 26 and want to lose 50 more. I'll still be overweight on paper but it's my goal for now. Anyway here is my progress as caught on my doorbell camera, every 10th pound leading up to this DietBet. I feel better already!

Hi everyone!
This is my first game ever! I’m not sure exactly how this all works, but I’ll be uploading my entry photos tonight. I’m a little nervous to see my weight. It’s been a while. But I’m excited for this game.

Also, I am not a member so do I just post the initial photos and then the final photos? That okay? Thank you!

I’m new as well as I was trying to figure out the process. I’m glad to see that they are trying to make as fair as possible. I like it. I did not know or maybe I skipped the part for the length membership.. I will need to read again

Another newbie! Yay! I wish you extra luck!

I ran five laps around the park near my house today. After some quick research I learned that was a mile! I ran at a snail's pace but I did it! And I can't wait to see how much I can do the next time. Good luck everyone! We've got this in the bag!

Congrats! When I've jogged i swear I can walk faster but the movement of the jog is harder and hits different in the muscles. That's a great accomplishment no matter how fast!

Jackie R.

Thank you!

  • About 20 years ago I was really into running. I've definitely let that fall way-side but I'm trying to pick up jogging little by little. I think I almost did a mile today! Trying to push myself more and more each time to see what I can do. The only limits I have are the ones I place. Have a great day everyone! (Sweatie selfie or it didn't happen)

Go Kristine! I highly recommend Couch to 5K. When I did it, there was a free audio version from England's NHS. Although, a more accurate name would be Couch to 30 minutes! I could jog for half an hour but with my short legs, it didn't get me to 5K. Now my knees are bone on bone and I want to lose enough to safely have surgery. At my current BMI, I don't feel very resilient.

Good for you!
