Wine is a sabotager! I have the same challenge - I call wine stooopid juice because it typically leads me down a bad path of snacking and not watching portions!

Way to go Tree! I am struggling with the same issues but have lost more games than I've won! Still cheaper than a diet programme like Weight Watchers and gym. I am doing 5ks even one 7k...amazing that you can run a marathon. You are doing great! Maybe you can gradually reward yourself with new clothes on sale or even at a good thrift shop!

With a background in the medical field and a 25 ultra-distance runner, I know the quirky issues with food intake and building muscle. The math is simple though. If I want to win (very goal driven) I have to perform. Thanks for the encouragement! Best of luck to you Mary K and JerriH.

4oz of wine is a tease!! I have to scrimp and save calories so I can get at least a decent-sized pour - even if it takes 2 weeks - or I'd rather go without! I'm one of those cheaters that once i take one bite, i eat the whole thing! best just not to take that one bite at all!
