Hi, I'm Lindsay, from Chicago. I was motivated to join the group because I've been in a pretty good mindset lately and wanted to give myself some extra accountability to keep it up during the holidays. My non-scale goal is to get more sleep - I'm a single mom with almost full custody of 3 school age kids and a full time job, so I get so little time to myself that it's hard to make myself go to bed during that brief period of time when the kids are all asleep and I have a little bit of time to myself.

Tbh Iā€™ve just been cooking a cup of frozen green beans and eating them with whatever else iā€™m eating for breakfast. I accidentally bought extra and they are easy and yummy.

At the heaviest I've been in 2 years. Started 2B 3 years ago and lost 25lbs but bad habits in the last months has put 15 of it back on. Ready to get back to healthy habits and get back down so I can be closer to my goal weight!

  • I am struggling big time with my nutrition. This past weekend I ate so much fast food (Taco Bell/Popeyes/Jack in the Box) and so I really need to get back into gear, follow 2b mindset, and meal prepping/planning for the week:

    Breakfast: choc PB chia banana smoothies (making smoothie packs to dump in the blender and just need to add milk)

    Lunch: lentil chicken curry with cauliflower rice (cooked chicken and made lentils)

    Snacks: IQ protein bar and/or veggies and eggs

    Dinner: veggies most (spaghetti squash/marinara/chicken sausage, salmon/brussel sprouts, beef taco salad)

    I am getting heavier and heavier and I need to just stop before I have to be on diabetes medication (Iā€™m prediabetic)!! I exercise daily but Iā€™m learning that nutrition really is the key to weight loss!

    Just had my smoothie and feel better already!!

I was down to 145 a year ago, and I allowed myself to slack off and started drinking more again plus all the snacks at the spring/summer get-togethers, so now I'm up to 159 again. I need to reset my mind and get it back together! 4 years ago, when I first found 2B, I was at 175ish and felt awful all the time. Don't want to go back to that feeling!

Hi loves!! Happy FriYAY!! This is when we increase our focus on our healthy habits and lifestyle. Donā€™t take the mindset that the weekend has to be harder. In fact, tons of my clients find they lose more weight on the weekend due to extra time to sleep, relax, drink water (and pee), workout, go grocery shopping and plan for the week.


How much water are you drinking this weekend? What veggies do you plan on eating tonight, tomorrow and the next day? Are you going to any events? How are you going to go about it smart??

I'm traveling (oy...) but I hope to include healthy snacks and smaller portions wherever I go! I'll be doing hiking and maybe kayaking some snorkeling etc so I'll be getting exercise and lots of water.
