I need some advice. I’ve been dealing with bloating after meals. At first it was just after breakfast but now it’s after ever meal. Last night was some of the worst bloating and discomfort I’ve ever experienced after eating pork meatballs and zoodles for dinner. Now the scale is back up to 156.6 (I worked really hard to get past this number last week). Has anyone else experienced this? If so, has anything helped to decrease your bloating? And do you think the weight gain is due to the bloating? Because I followed plate it, drank tons of water and even had 7 hours of sleep opposed to 6 last night.

Lemon in my water helps me and walking after dinner

Stephanie mentioned Hum enzymes, and I use these too, especially before dinner. I know Ilana also uses (and has endorsed) this brand specifically

Has anyone here tried Shaun T’s new workout program Dig Deeper? I had a baby 2 months ago and before she came I had been doing the LIFT 4 and LIFT MORE series. Just wondering if Dig Deeper will be too intense as my first postpartum program. Any ideas?

I wouldn't say too intense if you're used to L4 and LM, just obviously be mindful of how heavy you're lifting to not put too strain on your body or anything you may need to heal from (caesarian, tear, etc). If you're anything like me you might not like the pace compared to those. I tried it but packed in after a week or so because I got sick of Shaun talking and was finding I kept fast forwarding. No disrespect to him, it just wasn't a good fit for me, but plenty of others seem to like it.

I did Dig Deeper for 45 days and then got really sick and couldn’t finish and I don’t think I would recommend this postpartum!! I am a mom of 5 and I think we are not careful enough with ourselves after we have babies because we put so much pressure on ourselves to bounce back!! My advice would be to really focus on nutrition and do something like 4W4E it’s a little less intense but still so good! Or even Barre or one of Elise’s postpartum programs.
Good luck and congratulations on your little one

Listening to Ilana’s audiobook for the third time since it came out. I’m only in the introduction this morning and it is so helpful, even on a third read. A friend and accountability partner recommended I listen to it again during this DietBet and I’m so glad I did. My friend said, “Get Ilana in your ear whenever you are in the kitchen.” Such great advice! I’m determined to drop these last 12 pounds!!

I do the same. Whenever I start slipping or getting off track I'll relisten to the book and old AMAs to keep her in my ear. It helps so much to get right back to it.

Love this! I need to do this

  • Officially at my highest weight ever. Looking forward to never seeing this number again.

Motivation: Be healthy for my kids, dad passed recently with clogged arteries and diabetes, and least of all, be able to walk around Disney land next May!

  • Hello everyone! This is my first diet bet and I’m very excited about the extra accountability! I am a mom of 5, ages 17 to 7 and my husband and I run our own construction company in Lees Summit MO. I have let the stress of life and motherhood take a toll on my weight and I’m really looking forward to making my nutrition a priority this fall!
