I've been drinking a protein shake about 4pm before dinner, keeps me not overeating and helps me dinner and done because I stay full!

I'm noticing the evolution of the program and for me, I know the fundamentals of the program. I was missing the how to shift your mindset piece. I'm so happy this is being addressed in these AMAs. I'm learning to track more honestly and using it to see progress in this episode

I was very proud of myself for my choices yesterday and being much more conscious of my BLTs. I went for a walk and did some interval running the last half mile. I was a big runner BC (before children) so not much running has happened in over 11 years. It actually felt pretty good. But! I’m up half a pound today!! I got more sleep, lots of water, early dinner…it is tempting to say screw it!!! But I went to sit down and realized how sore I am! I’m not going to let it get me back to old habits. But honestly since turning 40 the scale doesn’t respond like it use to!!!

What’s everybody using for physical activity this month? I have ADHD so it’s impossible for me to do something that isn’t fun and also occupies my brain while doing it. I love Fitness Marshall on YouTube (SO fun!) and lately my go to is Cozy Cardio… where you turn the lights off, have candles all around, get a fun beverage and watch tv while walking on the walking pad for an hour.

I have had a lot of success with 2b mindset. I lost 35 before my second baby and then lost 65 after he turned one and maintained it for a couple years. But I’m up 15 pounds and ten came on in the last year. I think between my youngest losing the nap time that I would use to workout, stricter rules around break time at work (I would walk 2 miles but now I’m confined to punch in and out and not be approximate) and over treating myself the weight has creeped in. I and ready to start taking it off and not carry it into the holidays!!

What do y’all eat for lunch so you don’t need an afternoon snack? I eat breakfast of eggs and oats at 7am, lunch at 11:45am which is a big salad with chicken breast or salmon, then I’m STARVING around 3pm and with kids’ sports we don’t eat dinner until 7pm. I end up eating way too many snacks around 4-5pm and I got sick of raw veggies, so trying to eliminate snacking if I can. Any ideas/tips? Thank you!!! Excited to lose fat with y’all!!

And either way, in various seasons I find I need a veggie Appetizer to dinner - something easy and tasty!

I have discovered I need a lot more protein at each meal - like 40 grams or more. Otherwise I am hungry again in a couple hours and end up snacking between meals.
